The farmhouse will be red with a grayish roof. it will have two floors, several rooms, and be surrounded by fields. Rooms include bedrooms, dining room, parlor, kitchen, pantry, bathroom, tobacco barn, and slave quarters.
Adult Bedroom
This bedroom will be placed on the second story of the house it will be painted a darker blue to show wealth. The bedroom will only be used for sleeping and will not be entered by any one who is not a member of the family.
Child Bedroom
A bedroom for children, that would be used for boy/girl children. It will also be placed on the second floor of the house and will only be used for sleeping. The mattress will be made out of horse hair and straw.
Dining Room
The dining room will be located on the first floor of the house near the parlor. It will be decorated with red curtains and a decorate design on the wall. This dining room will be used for the family to eat meals in.
Kitchen
The kitchen was located outside of the house so heat was not spread in the already warm weather. It was used to cook meals for the family in. Most wealthy families will hire chefs to cook their meals for them. Inside the kitchen will be a warm stove and many spices for chefs to cook with.
Pantry
The pantry will be outside attached to the kitchen. it will be used for many different kinds of spices and cooking material. IT will have many wooden shelves for holding ingrediance.
Parlor
The parlor is a former room that is used for sitting and taking with guests. This house does not expect many guest because of its location, so only one parlor for only both men and women will be included in the house. Inside the parlor their are decrotave paintings darker paints to show guests their wealth.
Bathroom
The bathroom will be small and seperate from the house. It will be located behind the house and a very plain room.
Tobacco Barn
The tobacco barn will be used for drying tobacco. This barn will be located behind the house near a field or pasture. It will contain several beams to make hanging tobacco the easiest it can get.
Slave Quarters
The slave quarters will be located farther away from the house close to the fields. The slave houses will be simple and two roomed. Many slaves are owned by the successfull farmer so more than one is needed.
